Thank You
for your generous donations to the Cherokee County Fund Drive |
Safe, affordable, and quality day care is always a necessity for families in Cherokee County. According to Rhonda Kroll, Director at Bright Beginnings Day Care and Pre-School nearly 100 families from Cherokee county with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old are served on an annual basis.
As a member agency of the Cherokee County Fund Drive the child care facility benefits directly from the generous donations generated from the annual fund drive. For example, at one point the facility had to replace all of the cribs in their nursery, with their share of funds from the Cherokee County Fund Drive it was possible to ease the financial burden of that particular project.
Kroll and all the employees at Bright Beginnings Day Care & Pre-School work there because they love children and want to see them grow and develop in the best possible way while their parents are working. In addition to financial support through the Cherokee County Fund Drive the facility also sponsors an annual Duck Splash event with raffle prizes and a fun time of events. Throughout the year, Kroll says, people can help out in other ways too. People can donate toys, some clothes, and items that get used on a daily basis such as facial tissues, glue, masking tape, and dish soap to name a few.
